An Irish branch of the Primary Care Dermatology Society was formed in 1996 and holds an annual Spring meeting with a mixture of formal lectures and workshops on topics relating to dermatology in primary care. Membership of the Society is growing steadily and is open to all primary care practitioners with an interest in dermatology to exchange views and ideas, encourage research, improve patient management and promote education.
