Differently sized, roundish, white or white-yellowish clods within a lesion. Best seen with non-polarised light.
What the structures correspond to histologically
Intraepidermal, keratin-filled cysts.
Lesions in which the structures arise
When found in larger numbers, are most commonly associated with seborrhoeic keratoses. They may sometimes be found in BCCs, melanomas, normal skin, and almost any lesion.
