Anticholinergic burden scale

Consideration needs to be given to prescribing certain long-term systemic anticholinergics, especially in patients aged over 55 due to the association with dementia - to help calculate the risk refer to the Anticholinergic Burden Scale. Examples of anticholinergics include Oxybutinin and Propantheline Bromide used to treat hyperhidrosis, and antihistamines
