Skin diseases can have a major impact on patients' lives in terms of psychological well-being, social functioning and everyday activities. Assessment of patients' quality of life has become an invaluable tool in the following:

  • As an important endpoint in clinical trials in addition to the traditional clinical outcomes
  • In the assessment of the severity of skin conditions and sometimes in influencing management decisions
  • In measuring response to treatment
