From Inspiration to Impact: A GPwER’s Journey in Dermatology
Eight years ago, I attended my first PCDS event in Manchester, not knowing then how pivotal it would be for my career. That day ignited a passion for dermatology, leading me to complete the postgraduate diploma and ultimately become an accredited GPwER.
Now, I’m proud to be speaking on behalf of the Primary Care Dermatology Society, sharing my journey in the hope that others will be inspired too. Dermatology plays such a huge role in everyday general practice. With the right skills, we can provide even better care for our patients.

The Society’s Annual Conference in the Spring provides a comprehensive educational package for all members of the Primary Care Health Professionals with talks from leading specialists, and hands-on workshops. The two-day event includes an evening function, which is always fun which is great for networking and making new friends. The ‘Where Dermatology Meet’s conference provides cross specialty education with joined-up thinking.
Over 30 internationally recognised events a year for all members of the Primary Healthcare Team.
